"Ottchil gets married with paper..." - The resin of the lacquer tree (Ottchil) is the best natural, waterproof, antiseptic glue in the world. The oldest lacquer tree that exists today dates back nearly 8000 years. He was exhumed in China. Urushiol, a major component of this sap, has long been influential in the trade of this product between Korea, China and Japan. Thus, developing the culture of the lacquer tree in the region.
